A conversation with Jefferey & Celia Engel
“Friendship isn’t a big thing— it’s a million little things." – Paulo Coelho, author of ‘The Alchemist’
Pretty much every time one of our new customers mentions that Jeffrey and Celia Engel referred them to us, the above quote is one of the first things that crosses our minds.
Would you be open-minded about hearing how and why Jeffrey and Celia keep showing up as ambassadors of wellness in the lives of those they love?
If so, then check out the condensed version of the conversation our founder, Ryan Chorneyko, had with them for our AquaCure Originals series.
Ryan: Folks, thank you again for being such amazing ambassadors of wellness and the AquaCure machine. Jeffrey, why and how do you bring up the topic of the AquaCure machine to the folks you love (i.e. your family, friends, colleagues, etc.)? And, when do you usually first mention it?
Jeffrey: The reason why I share the AquaCure is that I want everyone I talk to to have the opportunity to learn about it and the benefits it has for achieving optimal health. I wait for an opportunity in the conversation to talk about the AquaCure and then I ask permission to tell them about it.
Ryan: What are the top reasons you mention when recommending that the folks you love should get an AquaCure?
Jeffrey: The top reason is that the AquaCure gives our bodies what it needs to heal itself as God designed it. The biggest component by weight in our bodies is water, and the water we get from the AquaCure is the best possible water to completely hydrate our bodies. Also, as far as I know, the highest component in our bodies by volume is hydrogen (62%). By saturating our bodies with hydrogen, our body’s immune system is at the greatest potential to fight off dis-ease.
Ryan: Celia, why do you recommend that folks get an AquaCure from us (the Pureffect crew)?
Celia: Oh my gosh, because the health benefits I have received are wonderful. I have more energy and more restful sleep. As a person gets older, we tend to have more aches and pains, and mine have been much less and I feel more limber. I have a scar on my left thumb which is reducing, and I feel that some day the scar will be gone. My vision also seems to be improving.
Ryan: Jeffrey, it’s my understanding that you often literally help set up the AquaCure for your friends. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 = a walk in the park, 10 = rocket science), how easy is it for a first-time user to follow our how-tos for setting up the AquaCure?
Jeffrey: On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it a 4.
Ryan: How much time does an AquaCure setup take, on average?
Jeffrey: After assembling a few AquaCures, I would say the average time from opening the box to fully assembled and ready to use takes 30-40 minutes.
Ryan: Any suggestions/tips on how we could make the setup how-tos more obvious and user-friendly?
Jeffrey: So far just one. The instructions call for 5 tablespoons of lye and 5 cups of distilled water. Why don’t the instructions right away say 6 cups of distilled water instead of 5 cups of water, instead of suggesting that we later add the 6th cup after the electrolyte has been mixed?
Ryan: Great question! The top reasons are:
- There is a possibility that the AquaCure is not totally empty prior to adding the solution. In some cases, the water from the hot water rinse prior to the solution being added might not drain out completely.
- It is harder to take water out of the machine than to add more. 5 cups of distilled water is enough to ensure proper use, and it prevents triggering the overfill sensor.
- Once the machine is running for a few minutes, the 5 cups of distilled water ‘recipe’ allows for any air bubbles to work their way out of the sight tube, and that gives the user a true reading of how much water is in the machine. Then, using the supplied syringe, the user can proceed to add small amounts of distilled water to bring it up to the full line. In many cases, it might not actually take all 250 ml (1 cup) to get there.
- If in the future the user ever needs to completely replace the solution which goes into the AquaCure, the ‘5 cups of distilled water to 5 tablespoons of lye’ instructions tend, in our experience, to paint a clearer and more memorable ‘recipe’ in the mind’s eye.
Back to you: did you or any of your friends need to use our warranty for any reason? And if so, how was the experience?
Jeffrey: Yes, the LED display stopped working after 3 days for one of our friends. We contacted the Pureffect crew and you guys had a new AquaCure sent to our friend and he returned the defective one. It was a very smooth transition.
Ryan: Celia, is there something I didn’t ask you about the AquaCure that you’d like to mention?
Celia: You could have asked who I thought would benefit from the AquaCure. I would say that everyone would benefit from the AquaCure no matter what level their health is at.
Ryan: Thank you, guys!
